Dustin Baker is involved in a number of school activities participating on the cross country, basketball and track teams. He serves on the student council, is a member of the Quiz Bowl team, and is president and regional officer of FFA.

Dustin serves as a student representative to the Michigan High School Athletic Association. He plans on attending Michigan State University to study animal science.

Lane Powell is the daughter of Duane Powell and Vicki Chessin. She has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years, and this year is President of the Alma Chapter. Lane has played tennis for four years, on Varsity for the past two years. She has been a member of Science Olympiad for five years and has danced with the Academy of Performing Arts for thirteen. This is her fourth year in the Youth Advisory Council.

Lane is currently dual enrolled in two classes at Alma College. She traveled to Washington DC with Close Up during the spring of her sophomore year, and will return again this fall. Lane has not yet chosen a college but plans to pursue a career in politics.

Paul Schrems is very active in school and community. He is president of the National Honor Society, a member of the football, track, and basketball teams. Paul has achieved the highest advancement rank in scouting...Eagle Scout. Paul plans to attend the University of Michigan to pursue a degree in engineering.
